CIT/JRCiT Positions are available -A program that teaches leadership, responsibility, and camp-counseling skills while giving participants real experience assisting younger campers. The CIT and JCIT Summer Program is designed to give participants a meaningful step forward from traditional camp experiences, focusing on leadership development, increased responsibility, and hands-on engagement. Campers will take part in structured daily activities led by a dedicated CIT Director, who will guide them through team-building, mentoring opportunities, and skill development that prepares them for future leadership roles both in and out of camp.
To enhance the overall experience, the program will include a wider variety of trips and enriched programming throughout the summer, offering participants new environments to explore, learn, and grow. These additions provide greater value and create a more dynamic, well-rounded experience.
As a result of these program enhancements—including expanded trips, elevated programming, and specialized leadership staffing—the CIT program fee will include a fee of  $125. This investment directly supports a higher-quality experience, ensuring participants receive the guidance, opportunities, and memorable moments that define a standout summer.
Interview process and approval is required to register. Spots are limited. If Interested, please fill out the application form with attached reference sheet and email to Michael at Mcentoni@bethanyct.gov
